Privacy policy

Mint Size Charts is a Shopify app made by Mint Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it, how we use it, and how it's deleted.
The short version
- We store the size charts you create, which products, collections, tags, product types and vendors they're assigned to, and your display settings.
- We don't collect or store any personal information about your customers. The storefront pop-up runs in the shopper's browser and never sends anything to our servers.
- We don't use cookies or trackers on your storefront, and we never sell or share your data.
- When you uninstall, your access token is deleted straight away and everything else we hold about your store is deleted 48 hours later.
Permissions we ask Shopify for

We also read your Mint Size Charts subscription status from Shopify. We can't see or change your orders, customers, inventory, themes or payments, and we never write to your products.
What we collect

Shoppers and the storefront
On your storefront, the chart is part of your product page. The Mint Size Charts script only opens and closes the pop-up and converts measurements. If a shopper switches between centimetres and inches, that choice is remembered in their browser's local storage (the word "metric" or "imperial" only) so the next chart opens the same way; this is not a tracking cookie and isn't shared with anyone. A measuring-guide image loads from the link you entered (for example Shopify's own file CDN). We don't receive, store or process customer personal data, and we respond to Shopify's customer data request and deletion webhooks as required — there is nothing for us to return or delete.
Where data is stored
The app runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database) and connects to Shopify's APIs. Data is encrypted in transit. We don't use any other third-party services, analytics or advertising.
Retention and deletion
We keep your charts while the app is installed. When you uninstall, your access token is deleted immediately and Shopify removes the app's metafield from your store, so the charts stop showing. Shopify then asks us to erase your store's data 48 hours later, at which point everything is permanently deleted. You can also email us to request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about your store. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
